LashBack is proud to have contributed three full pages of compliance data and definitions to the 2007 Marketing Sherpa Email Marketing Benchmark Guide. We conducted an audit of 1,000 email messages- 100 from each of the top ten ad networks. The goal was to execute the first complete CAN-SPAM compliance audit of messages to gain insight into affiliate compliance. The results were surprising.

LashBack also defined the major points of CAN-SPAM Compliance that each of the 1,000 emails were reviewed for in the audit. We are interested to hear feedback on the definitions and hope it will spark an industry-wide dialog on the major points of compliancy. We need to make "Compliance" as important in our lexicon as Reputation and Deliverability.
