Today Return Path unveiled its newest Delivery Assurance product, Sender Score. Much like a credit score for senders, receivers are going to be able to reference Sender Score to determine which senders have a good reputation and which ones don’t. Good scores mean the email is delivered and bad ones can send your message to the junk mail box. What’s more, unsubscrbe performance history is an important factor in the overall sender score. Return Path looks to LashBack for that component of their product.
Matt Blumberg, CEO or Return path posted an informative message on Sender Score in his blog. If you’re not already doing so, I highly suggest reading Matt’s blog regularly. It’s always informative and often fun.
