LashBack’s partner, Return Path publicly announced today (press release here) that they have acquired the popular Bonded Sender Program from IronPort. Woo Hoo! In addition to this being fantastic news for LashBack, email users around the world will benefit from this acquisition. As Return Path takes the drivers seat at Bonded Sender, a new level of intelligence in regards to email marketers reputations and ongoing compliance with marketing best practices will become enforceable. What’s more, ongoing compliance with consumer opt-out requests will become a factor in determining how an organization qualifies or stays qualified in Bonded Sender. The bottom line here is LashBack unsubscribe service and reputation intelligence just became an important factor in determining which email marketers deserve the right to gain deliverability to the inbox to some of the larges ISPs in the world, including Microsoft. Bonded Senders’ 240 million mailboxes will now benefit from LashBack’s unsubscribe intelligence. Unsubscribe compliance is crucial, and LashBack is watching.
